New: On-Screen Report Viewer

Chief Programmer Barry Liveston has developed a new report viewer for BMSI's Accounting & AP software as well as the Tax and Utility systems. If you are using any of these systems you will probably want to update your software to take advantage of this new feature.
Some of the major new features of the report viewer are:
- Full screen viewing: On screen viewing of reports is now greatly enhanced by displaying the reports using the entire screen. Examining reports on screen is easier and quicker.
- Improved printer selection: The new report viewer has replaced the old printer selection dialog box with a more modern windows printer selection box.
- Easy exports: Reports can easily be exported and saved in a variety of useful formats such as Excel, PDF or HTML. This allows for easier sharing of reports electronically.
- Printing of Selected Pages: Print only the portion of the report you need.
- Search Capabilities: By using the binoculars icon you can search for items by either name or account number.
In order to implement the new report viewer the newest version of the software needs to be installed and the report viewer enabled. This will require implementation help from the BMSI support personnel. Please e-mail bmsi@bmsi-fund.com to have an update sent and, when ready, to arrange for a date and time to make the changes.
Note: This new feature works best if you use laser printers. If you also use dot matrix printers please talk to your support representative about using dot matrix printers with this feature.
